NOC insures players against corona virus

Kathmandu. Nepal Olympic Committee(NOC) has insured 89, including players preparing for the upcoming Tokyo Olympics, against the corona virus.
Amidst alarming increase of COVID-19 cases and rising concerns, in its meeting last Saturday the NOC had decided to insure the players and staff against the novel corona virus. NOC has informed that besides players and coaches preparing for the Olympics, officials, members of the general assembly and NOC Commission and all staff members have been insured.
The insurance policy covers expenses up to 1 lakh rupees. General Secretary of NOC Nilendra Raj Shrestha and four other staff had been infected with the virus last month. All are free from the disease at present.
