NCP secretariat meeting at Paris Danda on PM Oli’s proposal
The meeting of the NCP secretariat is being held today at Paris Danda, headquarters of the former CPN-Maoist.
The secretariat meetings had been taking place at the prime minister’s official residence in Baluwatar before as per the consensus reached during the unification process of CPN-UML and CPN-Maoists to hold the permanent committee and central committee meetings either at party’s central office at Dhumbarahi or the PM’s official residence.
This time, however, both Chairs KP Sharma Oli and Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ agreed upon a different venue for the meeting. PM Oli had made the proposal, it is said.
“Accepting PM Oli’s proposal, the meeting has been arranged at Paris Danda,” Subash Nembang, NCP deputy parliamentary leader, told DCNepal.
According to news source, today’s meeting will concentrate on issues brought forth by the task force to resolve certain issues of unification and the reshuffling of the cabinet.
