PM Oli stresses on the significance of multilateralism in his UN address

Kathmandu.  Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has said that in order to face the complex challenges of the world, the United Nations (UN) has to be strong and unrelenting for it to behave as the center of multilateralism.

In his pre-recorded video address to the high-level meeting to mark the 75th year of establishment of the UN, the PM noted that the occasion was an opportunity for making commitments to world peace, prosperity and justice.

The PM expressed his satisfaction over the collaboration between the UN and Nepal in the field of peace and security, development and human rights.

182 speakers are expected to address the anniversary program, including heads of state of 88 nations and 44 heads of government.

PM Oli is also scheduled to address the Biodiversity Summit on September 30, 2020.
