The provincial assembly of Karnali to hold a meeting by mid-October

Due to the risk of coronavirus infection, the Karnali state assembly has not been able to hold a meeting that was postponed on July 11, after the annual budget was passed.

Jivraj Budhathoki, secretary of the state assembly, has said that the purpose of the annual convention was to endorse the budget. which has now already been endorsed. He further confirmed that the committee is busy considering some bills.

The secretariat also stated that the speaker has been consulting the chief minister to convene a meeting shortly, after the finalization of the bills before mid-October. The meeting will hold a discussion regarding the issue of ending the annual conventions.
