Kabul. Taliban has blamed the Afghan government for not honoring the agreement they had with the United States in February earlier this year. Taliban member Khairullah Khairakhwa said that they participated in the Inter-Afghan Peace talks with the US, but the Afghan government was not serious about it.

The agreement between the Taliban and US had opened doors for Inter-Afghan Peace Talks. An agreement was reached on releasing all the prisoners and people who were captured in each other’s countries.

The Taliban and Afghan government have started a session of historic peace talks in Doha, Qatar. The talks that started from September 12 have not been able to stop violence that has still been continuing in Afghanistan. Chair of Afghanistan’s High Council for National Reconciliation, Abdullah Abdullah, has left for Pakistan on Monday for a three-day visit. He will have a high-level Afghan delegation assisting him to hold talks with Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan regarding the same issue.
