Demand to save Dr. Govinda KC’s life

Kathmandu. The Informal Sector Service Center (INSEC) has demanded the government to take relevant steps to save the life of Dr. Govinda KC, who started his 19th fast-unto-death in Jumla on September 14.

INSEC Chairperson Dr. Indira Shrestha in a press release today reminded the government that it has a constitutional responsibility to save the lives of the people and demanded a meaningful dialogue.

The statement mentioned, “INSEC expresses concern over the deteriorating health condition of Dr. Govinda KC, who has been on hunger strike for 18 days. His six-points demand includes the commencement of MBBS program in Karnali Institute of Health Sciences, Jumla and the need to probe into corruption scandals.”
