1551 new Covid-19 cases: The total number exceeds 90 thousand
Kathmandu. 1,551 more people have tested positive for Covid-19 on Tuesday. The spokesperson of the Ministry of Health and Population, Dr. Jageshwor Gautam delivered the message through the daily press conference, noting that the total number of infections had reached 90,814 across Nepal.
So far, 67,542 people have been discharged, including 2,340 in the last 24 hours. The number of active infected people in Nepal so far is 22,709. According to the Ministry, 783 people have been infected in Kathmandu, 118 in Lalitpur, and 116 in Bhaktapur today.
The Ministry stated that the nine deaths in the last 24 hours result in a total of 563 Covid-19 caused deaths in Nepal. As per the statement, within the past 24 hours itself, 11,047 people have been tested for coronavirus by PCR method while 4,221 people are in quarantine.
