DV program for 2022 opens
Kathmandu. The US Embassy in Kathmandu has informed through a press statement about the opening of the Diversity Visa (DV) lottery registration for 2022.
The press statement mentions that the application period for the 2022 Diversity Visa (DV) program opens at 9:45 pm local time in Nepal, Wednesday, October 7, 2020 (Ashwin 21, 2077 BS) and closes at 10:45 pm local time on Tuesday, November 10, 2020 ( Kartik 25, 2077 BS).
The embassy has urged for early applications and also not to listen to visa consultants and their false promises as it’s a free lottery program.
The US has been inviting immigrants from different parts of the world through the DV lottery program. It is an attraction for people of developing nations as they become eligible for the US green card, if chosen. A large number of Nepalis has been migrating to the US every year through the DV program.
