Lalitpur. Lalitpur Mayor Chiri Babu Maharjan was diagnosed with Covid-19 on September 24, along with mild symptoms of cold and cough. He was tested positive via swab testing at Patan Hospital.
The mayor had been in home quarantine since he was diagnosed with corona. However, he was admitted at Star Hospital at Sanepa on October 2, as he complained of chest pain. According to his personal secretary, Indra Bajracharya, Mayor Maharjan tested negative for the virus at 4 p.m. on Wednesday. He also mentioned that the mayor will be resuming his office soon.
