6 killed, 15 taken captive by Taliban in Kunduz, Afghanistan

Kabul. At least six security force members have been killed in an attack by Taliban militants on a security check point at Imam Sahib district of Kunduz province in Afghanistan.

According to TOLOnews, the attack took place on Wednesday night. The Taliban have taken 15 security personnel captive.

The Taliban have not changed their vicious behavior though they have agreed to hold peace talks with the Afghan government in Qatar soon.  They have been increasing their attacks and killing  security personnel in different parts of the country. On Tuesday, six police personnel were killed in a similar attack in Kabul.

A car bomb attack in Helmand province had killed at least four soldiers recently. The Taliban have targeted Helmand and carried several violent operations there.
