A restaurant tower in Madi
Bharatpur. The Mayor of the Madi Municipality, Thakur Prasad Dhakal, has announced that a detailed project report has been prepared to build a five-floored view tower at the Pushpamadan Batika of Laxmibas, Madi, at a total cost of Rs. 20 million.
Dhakal commented that, “Pushpamadan Batika, built-in memory of the late leaders Pushpa Lal Shrestha and Madan Bhandari, will soon have a view tower, restaurant, kindergarten, Pushpa Lal and Bhandari statues, forest picnic spot, and meeting hall. Visitors will enjoy views up to Golalghat of Bharatpur from the View Tower.” The Vice-Chairman of the Pushpamadan Batika Steering Committee, Mr. Dawadi stated that the view tower named “Community Forest Lodge” will be run by the local community. There will be binoculars for visitors on the top floor, while each level will provide space for the eatery. It is expected that the tower will be operational within the next five years.
