The government sets fees for digital wallet transactions
Kathmandu. Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) on Friday has fixed a fee for paying revenue in the government fund through digital wallets. The costs will range from Rs 5 to Rs 30 per transaction depending upon the rate to be paid to the government.
NRB has announced that the charges will be applied after mid-December. Considering the current situation of with the COVID-19 pandemic, NRB has urged the taxpayers to make filing through the wallet free of cost until mid-December.
New Arrangement:

Transactions up to Rs 1,000 will be free

Transaction for Rs 1,000 to Rs 3,000 will cost Rs. 5 per transaction

Transaction for Rs 3,000 to Rs 10,000 will cost Rs. 10 per transaction

Transaction above Rs 10,000 will cost Rs. 30 per transaction
NRB has also stated that the revenue payment fee has been added to the arrangement related to fund transfer and payment limit, through the digital wallets.
