Newly appointed GM hopes to turn NAC into a profitable enterprise
Kathmandu. The newly appointed general manager of Nepal Airlines Corporation (NAC) Dim Prasad Poudel joined his office on Monday. The meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers last Thursday had decided to appoint Poudel as the general manager for four years. Poudel is a chartered accountant by profession and is a member of the Board of Directors of the corporation.
In a welcome program organized at NAC head office at New Road, chair of the Board of Directors of the corporation Sushi Ghimire expressed his satisfaction over NAC’s performance during the COVID-19 crisis. He noted that appointment of the GM through discussion and mutual understanding has set a good precedent . He was hopeful that the corporation would prosper under the new GM, a management specialist.
Newly appointed general manager Poudel was thankful to the government for conferring the responsibility to him. He anticipated cooperation from all for the vitality of the corporation and hoped that with the addition of some aircraft, NAC would turn into a profitable enterprise.
