Former Prime Minister Khanal being discharged from hospital today

Kathmandu. Former Prime Minister and senior leader of Nepal Communist Party (NCP) Jhala Nath Khanal, who had been admitted to the hospital for an elevated blood pressure, is going to be discharged today. His health condition is returning to normal.
“He was taken to the HAMS Hospital Wednesday when his blood pressure levels rose to an alarming level,” Khanal’s secretary Krishna Bhattarai told DCNepal. ”The blood pressure is coming down to normal now. He will probably be discharged today.”
Khanal tested negative for COVID-19 in the test carried at the hospital. As per the doctors’ advice, Khanal had been admitted to the hospital for rest and monitoring of his blood pressure levels.
