Nepali Army ‘Division Commander’s Conference 2077’ commences
Kathmandu. Nepali Army is holding its ‘Division Commander’s Conference’ from Sunday. In the conference, the overall situation of peace and security in the country as well as the success, projection and future strategies in dealing with COVID-19 will be reviewed.
This is a regular conference held every six months. The three-day conference will be a virtual one this time. Spokesperson for the Nepali Army Shantosh Ballave Poudyal informed that all eight division commanders will make presentations from their respective stations about the current situation, achievements and challenges experienced within their respective area of responsibility.
Acting Eastern Division Commander Brig. Gen. Santosh Dhakal, Mid-Eastern Division Commander Maj. Gen. Suresh Kumar Karki, Mid Division Commander Maj. Gen. Tara Dhoj Pandey, Valley Division Commander Maj. Gen. Anand Kumar Adhikari, Western Division Commander Maj. Gen. Gokul Bhandaree, Mid-Western Division Commander Maj. Gen. Sanjaya Thapa, North-Western Division Commander Maj. Gen. Bigyan Dev Pandey and Far-Western Division Commander Maj. Gen. Nirmal Kumar Thapa are commanding the Nepali Army divisions located in Itahari, Dhanusha, Hetauda, Kathmandu, Pokhara, Butwal, Surkhet and Dhangadhi respectively.
