Co-ordination between Council of Ministers and other ministries to be made effective
Kathmandu. Deputy Prime Minister Ishwar Pokhrel has discussed on how to make works of the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers more effective. As soon as he assumed office, he discussed the matter with Chief Secretary Shanker Das Bairagi.
Pokhrel said, “This is a new place for me. I will take this office and works done by the office to new heights with the help of employees.” He also said that the office will work in co-ordination with other ministries and they will always strive to solve the problems regarding policies, planning and human resource.
Bairagi said that the officials will work innovatively for ensuring good governance and service delivery. During the discussion, heads of various five divisions briefed the status of their offices. Secretaries Yadav Prasad Koirala and Mahendra Guragain were present at the discussion.
According to Pokhrel’s press co-ordinator Lokendra KC, the deputy prime minister will be updated regarding other offices on Wednesday and Thursday.
