Saptari. Two men, aged 52 and 48 years, have been arrested on charges of rape in Baliya Bathnaha of Mahadeva Rural Municipality-3, Saptari.
According to Deputy Superintendent Naresh Kumar Singh of Area Police Office Kanchanpur, Saptari, the accused saw the victim alone and raped her in the morning of October 16. The victim had filed a complaint at the police station on Tuesday.
The victim has undergone a medical test in Gajendra Narayan Singh Hospital in Rajbiraj on Tuesday. According to the victim, she was headed for morning walk when the two accused caught her. They took her to a thatched hut in the field 300 meters away from her house and committed the crime there.
