Harley-Davidson to enter the E-Bicycle market
Kathmandu. World’s most popular American motorcycle manufacturer, Harley-Davidson Inc. announced its official entry to the bicycle market on Tuesday, by introducing its new cycle brand called “Serial 1”.
Brand-director of the cycle company, Aaron Frank said that entrepreneurial vision of Harley Davidson will once again change the world of two-wheelers with its world-class products. The first line of premium E-bicycles will arrive in March 2021.
Harley Davidson was founded in 1903 and was one of the two major American motorcycle manufacturers to survive the Great Depression. 117 years later, history seems to be repeating itself as the new e-bikes will be a homage to its first noisy model of motorcycle made by fitting a 167-cc motor into a regular cycle frame.
Recently, it has agreed with the Hero MotoCorp of India for the authorized distribution and after-sales service in India.
