Area Police Office set up at Fulbari, Chitwan

Bharatpur. Nepal Police has established an area police office at Fulbari in Bharatpur Municipaity-15, Chitwan on Thursday. The building that housed a health post in the past has been used for the purpose.
Surya Subedi ‘Pathik’, the chief political advisor of the home minister, inaugurated the office. The program was chaired by Chitwan CDO Narayan Prasad Bhattarai.
The office, under the command of an inspector, will provide service with 13 personnel at present but will increase the staff per need and have a workforce of 45 eventually, Nepal Police Chitwan’s spokesperson DSP Surya Thapa informed.
The Facebook page of District Police Office Chitwan mentions that besides Baharatpur Municipality Deputy Mayor Parvati Shah Thakuri and chief of Nepal Police Bagmati Province DIG Basanta Kumar Lama, chiefs of security bodies of the district, local representatives of the parties and social workers were present in the program.
