Rain of currency notes worth 3.5 million on the street
Kathmandu. Drug abuse proves extremely dangerous for many people. In China, a person’s substance abuse has been a boon in disguise for many people. Bo, a 29-year-old man has been arrested in China after he started throwing money from his balcony, stoned after taking a drug called meth.
According to the news published in the Daily Mail quoting the local media, after money started to shower from the sky, it led to a traffic jam on the road. There was competition among the people on the street to collect money. Police have arrested the miscreant and charged him for drug abuse.
The incident took place in the southwestern Chinese city of Shapingba. “At around 1:30 pm, a 29-year-old man in Shapingba district started throwing money from the balcony taking a drug called ‘meth’ at his home,” police wrote on China’s microblogging site Weibo.
Bo was throwing money from his flat on the 30th floor of the building. Witnessing the money raining from the sky, passersby started making videos, soon after which the information reached the police. The administration said that roughly NPR 3.5 million was thrown from the balcony under the influence of drug.
