TU making arrangements for students to take exams at the nearest center
Kathmandu. Several faculties of Tribhuvan University (TU) were unable to conduct their examination due to the nationwide lockdown imposed amidst the coronavirus pandemic. The University now has made arrangements for the students to sit for the examination from an examination center suitable for them.
Many students will no longer have to come to Kathmandu to take the exam from the center designated by the university but in their nearest TU affiliated institution. Dr. Peshal Dahal, Registrar of TU, stated that arrangements had been made for the students to take the exam from an appropriate examination center to make it easier for them.
To carry this plan forward, TU has asked students to opt for their examination center while filling out the online form. Students will be able to choose the examination center designated by the university by visiting the website of the Examination Control Office, Balkhu.
TU is preparing to conduct examinations at all levels which had been postponed since March. “We have designated examination centers and made arrangements for the candidates to take the exam online by choosing the exam center closest to them. The students will no longer have to come to Kathmandu to take the exam,” Dr. Dahal added.
He also mentioned that arrangements had been made for the students to print and get their admit cards online. TU has been conducting a few examinations for courses with just a few students maintaining physical distance. Registrar Dr. Dahal asserted that the schedule of all the examinations would be published within a couple of days. The responsibility of conducting the annual examination of TU will be taken by the Examination Control Office while the semester exams will be held under Dean’s Office.
