Biplav group’s two workers arrested on charges of showing a black flag to Indian army chief

Kathmandu. Indian Army Chief Manoj Mukund Naravane is in Nepal for a three-day visit. His visit did not go well with the Netra Bikram Chand (Biplav) group’s workers. Two of the group’s workers showed a black flag to the Army Chief at New Baneshwor.
The two workers were 28-year-old Khem Pradhan from Khotang and 38-year-old Tikaram Chaudhary from Bardiya. The two were arrested from Baghbazar by Special Intelligence Bureau of the Armed Police. Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG) and Spokesperson of the armed police, Raju Aryal said that the two were arrested and handed over to the Nepal Police.
They were arrested while they were seeking to protest at Baghbazar.
