‘NCP dispute is a conflict between progression and regression’: Baburam Bhattarai
Kathmandu: Chair of the federal council of Janata Samajwadi Party (JSP) and former Prime Minister Baburam Bhattarai has commented on the internal dispute of the ruling Nepal Communist Party (NCP). Whatever it may seem from outside, the feud going inside the NCP is a tussle between progressive and retrogressive forces, he said.
Using his twitter handle yesterday, he opined, “The dispute looks like a clash for power between the two NCP chairs, but we must accept the bitter truth that it is an expression of the ideological differences between the two. It is a battle of progression against regression.”
Bhattarai has tagged PM KP Sharma Oli as a reversionist and Pushpa Kamal Dahal as a progressionist.
