Five die in 18 hours in Biratnagar

Morang, Nov 5. Five persons infected with coronavirus died in the last 24 hours in Biratnagar. Four died in hospitals and one in home isolation.
A 55-year-old man from Itahari-18 of Sunsari died at Noble Teaching Hospital, Biratnagar, said hospital manager Narayan Dahal, adding that the man was admitted to the hospital three days back. An 84-year-old man from Bishnupur-1 of Siraha district died in the hospital isolation on Thursday itself.
Similarly, at Neuro COVID-19 Hospital in Biratnagar, a 71-year-old man died while undergoing treatment, according to hospital administrator Suresh Acharya.
Max Hospital of Morang recorded the death of 55-year-old person from Jahad Rural Municipality-3, according to administrative chief at hospital, Hemnarayan Mehta.
Another elderly person to lose life to COVID-19 is 70-year-old man from Biratnagar-8. He died in home isolation, according to Biratnagar Metropolis.
Meanwhile, Minister for Internal Affairs and Law in Province-1 Hikmat Kumar Karki recovered from infection after fourteen day isolation. (RSS)
