Eighteen-year-old Nilanshi breaks her own world record
Kathmandu. 18-year-old Nilanshi Patel has broken her old record, and set a new one in the Guinness Book of World Records. According to the official website of the Guinness Book of World Records, Nilanshi, who hails from Gujarat, India, possesses 2 meters long hair, breaking her own record for the longest hair in the world for the third time in a row. Her hair was most recently recorded was 2 meters or roughly 6 feet 6 inches long.
Nilanshi has been growing her hair since she was 6 years old. After a misbehavior at a salon, she decided not to cut her hair.
In an interview with Guinness Records, Nilanshi mentioned that she decided not to cut her hair again after it was damaged when she cut it 12 years ago. Nilanshi states that her mother helps take care of her hair which has now lead her to breaking her own record. Earlier in 2018, she had set the world record with her hair being 5 feet 7 inches long. Since then, her hair has grown 11 inches longer till date
