Dr KC contracts COVID-19, govt to bear all medical expense
Kathmandu. Dr Govinda KC, the famous activist seeking for improvement in medical education, has tested positive for coronavirus. His swab was sent for laboratory test after he showed symptoms of common cold, cough and fever. On Friday, the PCR test confirmed his being infected with the virus.
Dr KC is having some respiratory problems and undergoing treatment at the TU Teaching Hospital.
Meanwhile, Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has messaged through his Twitter handle on Saturday that the government would bear the medical cost of Dr KC’s treatment. He has also wished for the good health of Dr KC.
Prime Minister Oli said, “I wish for the speedy recovery of Dr KC who has been infected by coronavirus. I also want to inform that the government will carry his medical expenses.”
