Heavy precipitation disturbs normal life in Dolpa

Kathmandu. Normal life in Dolpa has bee disrupted by snowfall and rain since today morning. The precipitation has brought an abrupt change in weather with a sudden dip in temperature and increased chill.
Shey Phoksundo, Dolpobuddha, Phoksundo, Saldang, Dho, Tinje, Chharka, Balangra, Kagmara and Mukot have witnessed snowfall . Some places have recorded up to two inches of snow. Similarly, rainfall took place in Shahartara, Dunai, Jufal, Raha, Tripurakot, Pahada, Kaigau, Rimi, Narku, Lyhan and Liku.
Roads, hills and villages have been covered in snow. National News Agency (RSS) reports that locals of Bhot who had headed towards Tallo Dolpa to graze yaks have been stuck midway due to snow.
