Foundation stone laid for Emergency Shelter Building

Sarlahi, Nov 18. Foundation stone has been laid for Emergency Shelter Building at Lalbandi municipality-10 of Sarlahi district. Minister for Labour, Employment and Social Security, Rameshwor Raya Yadav, laid the foundation stone for the same.

The emergency shelter building is going to be constructed at a cost of Rs 20.5 million of Urban Development and Building Construction of the federal government.

On the occasion, Minister Yadav urged all political powers to involve in development of the country and to be united to save the country from crisis.

He shared that he would take possible initiative and support to establish ICU and install PCR machine in the district.

Prashanta Acharya, Krishna Dahal, Govinda Mahat, Surya Narayan Shrestha,Laxman Shrestha, Lal Bahadur Gole and Dil Kumari Pakhring had provided four kattha and five dhur land for the construction of the building.

The building is going to be constructed with an objective of providing shelter during natural disaster.

The Ministry awarded the contract to Jayadhananjaya Rabin JB Construction Company for the construction of the Building that can accommodate to 250 people.

Present in the programme were Dilli Upreti, Hari Upreti, Nepal Communist Party (NCP) In-charge and central committee member Dacharam Wagle among others.

The Building and Senior Citizen Shelter would be constructed at Lalbandi Municipality-10, 8 and 4 and Pariwan Municipality-1 in the district.  The construction cost for such buildings is estimated at Rs 50 million approximately, informed NCP Sarlahi In-charge Wagle. (RSS)
