Blaze devours Yeti Mountain Home at Solukhumbu

Solukhumbu. Fire at Yeti Mountain Home (Hotel) at Fangding of Khumbu Pasang Lhamu Rural Municipality-3 has destroyed property worth 20 million rupees.
The fire broke out at the hotel on Sunday morning at 9 am due to an electricity short circuit and devoured the building. It took five hours for the local people and the teams of Nepali Army and Nepal Police to douse the fire.
Along with the physical infrastructure of the building, everything inside the hotel has been ravaged by the blaze, National News Agency (RSS) quoted Anil Mabohang, Police Inspector at Distric Police Office, Solukhumbu.
The resort, owned by the Yeti Group, has been operated since the last twelve years by Lhakpa Sonam Sherpa.
