Bhaktapur. A team of the Central Investigation Bureau (CIB) has arrested Lambodar Neupane, former chair of Nepal Engineering College Changunarayan, on charges of financial irregularities.
According to the Police, after the police discovered the evidence of Neupane bribing Rs 78 lakh to Commissioner Rajnarayan Pathak of the Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA), Pathak had resigned from his post whereas Neupane had been absconding.
An illegal fund of Rs. 231 million 23 thousand 443 was discovered, out of which, Rs. 371.53 million was unaccounted for in the name of Neupane alone.
