Five die in jeep accident in Gulmi
Kathmandu. Five people died in a jeep accident at Dohali of Isma Rural Municipality-4, Gulmi, today.
Gulmi police informed that the vehicle ( Lu 1 Ja 1166) was heading to Tamghas from Hul of Dohali. The five passengers had died on the spot.
Those who died in the accidents have been identified as Dambar Hitan, 65, Shiva Darlami, 33, Basanta Darlami, 30 and Dhana Bahadur Achhami, 33 of Hula of Isma Rural municipality-4 and Sundari Thapa, 80 of Malika Rural Municipality-5
Farsuram Thapa, 19, Saraswati Darlami, 28 and jeep helper Kamal Hitan, 25, all residents of Hul, Isma Rural Municipality-4, are injured, Driver Buddha Basnet has sustained no injuries, however.
The injured have been sent to Gulmi Hospital for treatment. The vehicle was transporting nine passengers from Isma to Tamghas.
