Four die in jeep accident in Rukum West

Kathmandu. A jeep accident at Pokhara in Aathbiskot Municipality-7, Rukum West has led to the death of four people. The accident took place last night as the jeep was heading towards Daanje of Aathbiskot Municipality-8 from Gharikhola of ward no 2 of the same municipality.

The vehicle (Ra 1 Ja 589) was carrying members of the groom’s side of a marriage.

Those killed in the accidents are Sarke Nepali, 66, Aaite Chadara, 48, Gore Nepali of around 51 years, and Kalibhan Nepali, 51, of the same municipality, National News Agency  (RSS) mentions taking information from Mayor Gorakh Bahadur KC of Aathbiskot Municipality. Lal Bahadur Nepali, 60, has been seriously injured, as per Mayor KC.

The police informed that the Jeep driver has absconded. It has been learnt that almost all vehicles plying the route are old and  needing repairs.
