Ghazni. A car bomb blast in Afghanistan’s Ghazni province on Sunday killed at least 26 government security personnel. According to international media reports, 17 people were seriously injured in the bombing.
According to Baj Mohammad Hemat, director of the Ghazni Estate, the suicide bomber struck at a military base, adding that the dead and wounded were all soldiers. There have been quite a few attacks on military bases in the past few months.
Nasir Ahmad Fakiri, a member of the Ghazni provincial council, also confirmed the damage. No group has claimed responsibility for the attack.
