NMB Bank declared ‘Bank of the Year 2020’
Kathmandu. NMB Bank Limited has been declared the ‘Bank of the Year 2020’. The Financial Times of United Kingdom has honored NMB Bank with the title. This is the third time in the last four years that the bank has received the title.
The bank has made important progress in urban, semi-urban and rural areas because of the use of overall resources and the extension of its balanced network. Renewable resources, agriculture, small and medium credit expansion and electronic transactions have also been promoted by the bank, which adds to the bank’s strategy to support its work with sustainable principles and long-term thinking focused on loyalty of customers.
The bank issued a statement that said, “We are delighted to be awarded the title for the third time in four years. It is a testament to our hard work and dedication.” The statement also lauded the efforts by the bank and their stakeholders which helped them to provide uninterrupted service through digital media in the time of COVID-19.
