NCP chair duo’s proposals to be discussed at the standing committee
Kathmandu. The Nepal Communist Party (NCP) Secretariat meeting held on Saturday has decided to take both the political proposals presented by the two Chairs, Prime Minister KP Oli and Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ to the standing committee meeting.
After the meeting, spokesperson Narayan Kaji Shrestha told the media that both the proposals would be discussed in the standing committee on Sunday.
Although Prime Minister Oli had been adamant that Prachanda’s proposal had to be withdrawn, the meeting on Saturday decided to take both proposals to the standing committee meeting. This is sure to increase the rift in the party rather than fill the present gap.
The standing committee meeting is scheduled to take place at 1 pm at the party head office in Dhumbarahi.
