Importance of remittance, NAFEA acknowledged by FNCCI
Kathmandu. Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI) chair Shekhar Golchha said in a program today that remittance is the main source that mobilizes national economy of Nepal.
Addressing a program organized by the Nepal Association of Foreign Employment Agencies (NAFEA) to felicitate the newly elected office bearers of the FNCCI, newly elected chair Golchha said that he was committed to solve the problems of the association as it is instrumental in inviting remittance to the country.
Talking about his relationship with NAFEA since the past two decades, FNCCI senior vice chair Chandra Prasad Dhakal noted that he knew their problem well and would work to address f the issues of the foreign employment entrepreneurs.
Former chair of NAFEA, Mahendra Sherchan, argued that it was the responsibility of the FNCCI, being an umbrella organization of private sectors, to help resolve the major issues of the association.
The association chair Bishnu Gaire suggested that foreign employment returnees should get employment opportunity to utilize their expertise in the country.
