‘Nepalese will get Covid-19 vaccines for free’: Finance Minister Paudel
Kathmandu. Finance Minister Bishnu Prasad Paudel has said that they are in talks with various diplomatic bodies for the import of the covid vaccine. Talking with the Nepal Economic Journalists Association, Minister Paudel shared that Nepal will follow all the procedures required to import the vaccine as soon as it is available in the world market. He also said that they are aiming to facilitate the vaccines for free to the Nepalese citizens.
Minister Poudel said, “We want to reassure everyone that the government is working to manage and distribute the resources needed to bring the corona vaccine.” He added that the vaccines will be imported without compromising on the quality and standards.
He also said that a strong vaccine is required to bring Nepal’s economy into its previous state, but with new capabilities.
