Nepali Congress calls for all-party meeting

Kathmandu, December 21.  The main opposition party, Nepali Congress (NC), has called for an all-party meeting. NC President Sher Bahadur Deuba has called for the meeting at 4 pm today.

A meeting of Nepali Congress office bearers held on Sunday afternoon had decided to take to the streets saying that Prime Minister Oli had decided to dissolve the Parliament in an unconstitutional and undemocratic move.

The Nepali Congress has called an all-party meeting to discuss the current situation as Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has dissolved the Parliament followed by the declaration of elections. The Nepali Congress has also invited other parties including Nepal Communist Party (NCP), Janata Samajbadi Party(JSP) and Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) for the meeting.
