Residents advised to stay indoors as volcano erupts in Hawaii

Kathmandu, December 22. The Kilauea Volcano in Hawaii has erupted on Sunday. The volcanic eruption was followed by a series of earthquakes, according to the Hawaii County Civil Defense Agency (COH). The area has been kept on high alert and people are advised to stay indoors.

According to an article in CNN, the advisory was issued after a 4.4 magnitude earthquake struck Hawaii on late Sunday. Many earthquakes have gone past the eruption.

The Kilauea volcano had previously erupted in May 2018.
