Kathmandu, December 23 : An additional 743 people are confirmed to be infected with the COVID-19 in Nepal on Wednesday. At the same time, the total number of COVID-19 infections in Nepal has reached 2,55,979. According to the Ministry of Health and Population, the number of active cases in Nepal is 7,515.
In the last 24 hours, 952 people have recovered. Meanwhile, cases of total recoveries has reached 2,46,661. With the addition of five deaths in the last 24 hours, the total number of deaths due to COVID-19 has reached 1803. Similarly, 409 people are in quarantine so far.
6569 Real-Test Polymerase Chain Reaction (RT-PCR) tests have been done in the last 24 hours.
