Cabinet reshuffle in offing

Kathmandu. Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli is preparing for the reorganization of the Cabinet.

Seven ministers had resigned after the division of the ruling Nepal Communist Party (NCP). Plan is afoot to fill the vacancies created by the resignation of the seven ministers in protest of PM Oli’s decision of dissolving the Parliament.

The meeting of the central committed of the NCP (Oli faction) on Thursday has decided to add ministers to the Cabinet soon. Spokesperson of NCP, Pradeep Gyawali, confirmed  the decision of NCP Central Committee and said the Cabinet would be reshuffled soon.

Currently, seven ministries — Tourism, Labor, Drinking Water, Energy, Forest, Agriculture and Education — are vacant.
