Kathmandu, December 25 : A vote of no confidence has been filed against Chief Minister of Bagmati Province Dormani Poudel. Under the leadership of Minister of Internal Affairs Shalikram Jamarkattel, who is also the deputy  parliamentary party leader of Nepal communist Party (NCP) at the province, a motion of no confidence was registered against the chief minister on Friday.

45 members of the Prachanda-Nepal group have signed the motion of no confidence. Similarly, three ministers of the Bagmati Province government have also resigned.

Minister of Internal Affairs Shalikram Jammarkattel, Minister of Industry, Tourism, Forests and Environment Arun Nepal and Minister of Social Development Yubaraj Dulal are those who have resigned. Divided into two factions at the central level,  the impact of the split of NCP now seems to have reached the provinces.
