Kamal Thapa raises concern over alarming increase of Christians in Nepal
Kathmandu, December 27 : Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) Chairman Kamal Thapa said that there were two dozen Christians in 1950 but now there are four million Christians. He asked the Nepali people if they were upset over the matter.
“I have no animosity nor do I oppose any religion,” he wrote on Facebook. “I have respect for all religions. However, as a result of greed and delusion and planned and organized conversions in Nepal, the number of Christians that was just two dozen in 1950 has now reached about 4 million.”
“This attack on our glorious eternal religion and civilization is unbearable. Don’t you feel sad?” Urging to save Hinduism, Thapa added, “Adivasi, Janajati and Dalit communities have been targeted the most.”
