Kathmandu, Jan 4 : In the mountainous districts, snowfall has begun due to the influence of western winds. People’s lives have been affected in Karnali and far western himalayan districts due to snowfall.
In Simkot, the district headquarters of Humla, there has been continuous snowfall. Owing to snowfall there, flights have also have been disrupted. At the airport, Tara Air’s plane has been parked, as seen in the pictures below.
The locals say that the snowfall has added chill to the already very cold winter weather.
