Director of PADT Bharat Marasini informed National News Agency (RSS) that work on 25 heritages is yet to be started. The earthquake had damaged 90 heritages in the Pashupatinath area.

Reconstruction of Chandra Binayak Temple in Pashupatinath area was completed last week. After the reconstruction of the temple, a crowd of devotees had gathered at Chandra Binayak on Tuesday. There is a religious belief that visiting Chandra Vinayak will heal wounds related to skin.

Soil required for reconstruction of Jayawageshwari will be brought from Sankhu and Lubhu. Although it is certain that soil will be brought, there is a lack of wood required for the reconstruction of the temple. As new wood has to be placed at the bottom of the temple, problems in the reconstruction has arisen as wood is not available in the market. According to the National Reconstruction Authority, the Gorkha earthquake that took place five and a half years ago damaged 920 heritages across the country, out of which, 465 or 50.5 percent reconstruction has been completed so far. Currently, reconstruction of 272 heritages is underway. RSS
