New coronavirus variant cases on rise in India

Kathmandu, January 7. The new variant of coronavirus which was first seen in UK is now seen in India and the cases are on the rise. The new variant is said to be 70% more infectious than the second one.
The total cases of the new variant has reached 58, according to the Union Health Ministry of India.
Many other countries namely Denmark, Netherlands, Australia, Italy, Sweden, France, Spain, Switzerland, Germany, Canada, Japan, Lebanon and Singapore have already reported the presence of the new UK variant.
