Two Chinese nationals arrested as their kidnapping racket gets busted
Kathmandu, January 7. Police have arrested two Chinese nationals for a case of kidnapping. Two Nepalese nationals also have been arrested as they are suspected of being involved in the racket.
Police have arrested two Chinese nationals Wu Chao, Zhang Wei and two Nepalese nationals Bhakte Lama of Sindhupalchowk and Dawa Pasang Lama. The police had earlier received a complaint, which was filed from Ananda Hotel in Gaushala, Kathmandu on November 5. According to DSP Prabesh Bista of the Metropolitan Police Complex, Kitani, the kidnappers were charged with abducting Chinese nationals Li Weiping and Li Xioning.
According to the complaint filed by the abductees, they abducted them from Ananda Hotel in Tilganga of Gaushala on November 5 and later fled away. Police have said that they were investigating the case.
