Butwal. A team of Nepal Police in Butwal has arrested a youth on the charges of committing an offence under paragraph 9 of the Electronic Transactions Act, 2063 BS.
According to the press statement issued by the Cyber Bureau of the police, an 18-year-old man residing in Municipality-1 of Tilotta in Rupandehi was arrested during an investigation based on a petition from the District Court of Kathmandu.
The man had leaked the confidential customer details of internet service provider company “Vianet” over the social media platforms “Facebook, Instagram, Twitter”.
