With 259 new cases, national COVID-19 tally reaches 2,64,780

Kathmandu, Jan 10 : With 259 new cases on Wednesday the COVID-19 national tally has reached 2,64,780. According to the Ministry of Health and Population(MoHP), 19,82,246 Real-Time Polymerase Chain Reaction (RT-PCR) tests conducted in various laboratories across the country till now.
Along with that, 513 people have been recovered in the last 24 hours. 2,58,441 persons have recovered. Currently, there are 4,422 persons staying in home isolation while 257 are in quarantine. Similarly, there are 4,422 active cases of COVID-19 across the nation.
So far, five people have succumbed to the deadly virus in the last 24 hours and with this, the national COVID-19 related death tally has reached 1,917.
