US State Department website altered, ending Trump’s term on January 11

Kathmandu, January 12. The United States (US) State department website said that Trump’s term has ended yesterday, i.e. 11 January 2021.
The president’s biography page was edited twice which read “Donald J. Trump’s term ended on 2021-01-11 19:49:00” and “Donald J. Trump’s term ended on 2021-01-11 19:22:18.” Similar edits for Vice President Mike Pence was also made.
Both the biography pages is said to have created recently and was taken down on Monday afternoon.
Such changes have appeared as Democratic lawmakers are preparing for the vice president to impeach the president or invoke the 25th Amendment, after Trump supporters created a riot at the Capitol on Wednesday last week.
